Notes on Downloading VidLits for your iPod 1. Once you have chosen which VidLit you wish to download, simply click on the link to the right of the Vidlit's image and description, "Click Here to Download". Your Browser will download the archived (.zip) file, usually onto your Desktop, unless you have specified otherwise.( As with any download, your antivirus or security software make ask you if wish to accept the file. Please see our guarantee below, if you are concerned about accepting the file.) 2.) Once downloaded, double-click on the file to "reconstitute" it to it's viewable (m4v) format. 3.) Double-clicking on the file will open iTunes, make a copy of it in its own folder, and play it for you, either in a small window at the bottom left, in a large window of it's own, or fullscreen. In iTunes' Preferences, you may make the is choice under the General tab ("Play videos"). You may trash the original download file(s). The next time you dock your iPod, the VidLit will be automatically transferred to it. (If it is docked while adding the VidLit to your iTunes collection, the VidLit should transfer to your iPod immediately.) 4.) The native iPod format, to which these files conform, is m4v, and may not be compatible with applications and devices other than those made or sanctioned by Apple Computer©, 5.)
