Dear Potential VidLit Contributor,

If you’ve reached this page you are likely trying to decide if you should donate to VidLit. Let me tell you a bit about VidLit and us so you will have an informed opinion. Vidlit was designed to celebrate storytelling in a new and entertaining way. A few VidLits are paid for by publishers looking to reach you, the book-buying audience, but the majority of VidLits are experiments in storytelling and are wholly paid for by us.

The first VidLits were designed and created (that includes all the assets – music, graphics, sound effects, story) by us. We would love to be able to hire a composer or graphic artist on a specific project. Your dollars could be used toward that end. It would be great to have newer software. One of the things on our wish list is to put together a VidLit DVD but, sadly, we don’t have the software for it. We would love to buy tracking software that tells us who’s coming to our site and from where. That would help us get more book trailer clients because we would be able to prove that VidLit sells books. Your dollars could be used for Webtrends software.

Lastly, we have another important project we’re looking to start – KidVidLits – but we’re tapped out.

So, if you’re thinking about sending us some of your hard-earned money, know it will go to a good project, and if you can’t afford it, we understand. We can’t afford it either.
